A book with VERY SHORT sections
Becasue I didn't have my flashcards at the time, I looked for books with short messages that I could pick up and put down again. This is a book I found comforting and helpful. It is called Healing After Loss: Daily Meditations For Working Through Grief by Martha W. Hickman. Every day of the year has a short literary quote, a brief writing from the author and a meditation for the day. Closest I came to actual flashcards. I liked having something brief to look at and a little message to hold on to. Of course, I didn't follow the days of the year, but that's just me.
